𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗙𝗧𝗔) 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗖𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – Under the leadership of City Director Ellaine Josephine B. Depaur, DM, CESE, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Cagayan de Oro City successfully conducted an Online Orientation on the Issuance and Application of the Foreign Travel Authority (FTA) via Zoom. The activity was attended by department heads and employees of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro, as well as barangay officials, to enhance their understanding of the policies and procedures governing the application for a Foreign Travel Authority. During the orientation, participants were provided with a comprehensive discussion on the application process through the Foreign Travel Authority Online System (FTA-OS), including the documentary requirements, common issues encountered in the submission of applications, and the salient provisions of 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗼. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱-𝟬𝟮𝟯. The session aimed to ensure that all foreign travel requests are processed in accordance with existing rules, regulations, and prescribed timelines. The activity likewise underscored the importance of compliance with established policies to promote transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the processing of Foreign Travel Authority applications across local government offices. Through this initiative, DILG Cagayan de Oro City reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that City Government employees and barangay personnel remain well-informed of current policy issuances and departmental guidelines. By promoting awareness and reinforcing institutional compliance, the initiative supports the continued delivery of efficient, responsive, and accountable public service.
